AXIOM understands the 5010 Standard impacts your business
processes, not just your EDI organization. In our assessment we focus on these critical changes.
The objective of our Impact Assessment is to provide management
early awareness of the scope, risk factors and recommendations
necessary to develop a budget and plan for remediation.
AXIOM’s unique approach to performing an impact assessment gives us the ability to complete a
thorough review with
limited disruption to your staff within two to three weeks. The deliverables will provide you detail findings,
recommendations and a roadmap to support your planning process for implementation.
AXIOM’s approach uses a combination of our methodologies, tools
and experienced staff to ensure our assessments are customized
to best serve your organization and reduce time required by your
staff. The impact
assessment is generally completed in two to three weeks.
Our approach is a three step process:
-
qDiscovery – (one week on-site)
-
Begins with a pre-assessment questionnaire sent prior to
our coming on-site.
This allows us to capture key information which greatly
reduces time required to perform on-site interviews.
-
On-site awareness training is provided at the kick-off to
your team.
This sets the foundation of understanding to continue the discovery process.
-
üData capture includes review of e-architecture and data
flow again focusing on the new
impacts in the 5010 Standard.
Follow-up interviews will be
scheduled as appropriate.
-
qAnalysis – (one to two weeks)
-
üThis step is performed back at AXIOM utilizing
information collected and
performing a detail analysis and creating a detail report of impact
findings, alternatives and recommendations.
-
We will come back
on-site and review the assessment report and present the key
findings and recommendations.
